The Yawpers

Ready to kick your ennui to the curb? The Yawpers are back, slinging rock-and-roll with a corporate spin that’s more ironic than your dad’s vintage tee. They're not just playing music; they’re deploying a "scalable brand activation strategy"—a.k.a. a tour—as they roll out their hotly-anticipated new album. It’s a 15-year legacy of sonic swagger, and they're ready to remind everyone why they're the disruptors of the rock scene. Meanwhile, Shane Guerrette, the upstate NY dynamo, is channeling soul and roots into a sound so fresh it smells like teen spirit—or at least like a well-worn vinyl hitting the turntable. With buzz hitting fever pitch, missing his set would be a crime against coolness. And then there's R Cooper Long, the nomadic soul spinning modern yarns from the fabric of classic Americana. Seriously, if you're still on the fence, climb down and grab a ticket before you miss the indie event of the season. Legally, you'll need to snag two items, but existentially, you’ll leave with a whole lot more.
